A 2 day course exploring Pattern & Painting on Textiles. We will look at, and analyse, the basic elements of pattern as used in textile design; there will be time to practice purposeful mark-making on paper in relation to these design staples. We will look at the basics of the repeat - how and why repeats work. We will practice these ideas on paper.
